“Soaring High with Integrity while Nurturing Excellent Service,” is the theme of the 2018 Program Convergence, one of the biggest gatherings of teachers, school heads, stakeholders and DepEd Officials at the Kalinga Sports Center on December 20-21.

The Convergence is an opportunity to display transparency; advocate programs; and strengthen teamwork among the members in order to attain the vision and mission of the organization towards the realization of Kalinga SHINES (Splendid performance of school administrators; Home of Instructions; Innovations and continuous Improvement; Nourishment of Necessary Skills for teachers; Establishment of contextualized standards and Shining
Leaders of Innovations).

Highlights of the two-day affair are awarding certificates of recognition to retirees of 2018; recognizing outstanding employees, teachers and other DepEd personnel; and giving service awards to personnel who have rendered 35 and 40 years in the service.

Feedback on programs, projects, activities like SBM Level of Practice; Continuous Improvement; ICT Program; Launching of the DEDP; Research, DRRM , H&N, CID Programs, Accounting, and Administrative Section presentations is conducted as a form of advocacy. (Nicolas N. Carag, MT II, Macutay-Palao NHS)
