Exemplary performance, competence commitment, and dedicated service is the reason why DepEd Kalinga launched the Search for Outstanding Teaching and Non-teaching Employee 2015.

The submission of nominees from the districts commenced on October 30, 2015 and the deadline will be November 25, 2015. The Division PRAISE committee shall award winners on December 4, 2015 during the Division Educators Congress.

The search is open to all permanent Alternative Learning System teachers, elementary and secondary teaching and non-teaching employees with the following qualifications: Teaching and Non-teaching employee has not joined or received awards of the same kind of competition at the division, region and national levels, in active service for the last five years; has not been on leave for a year prior to this search; has outstanding performance in the last two rating periods and has never been sanctioned for violation of any Administrative Case/Civil Service Commission rules and regulations.

There shall be one winner in the following: Outstanding Elementary Principal, Outstanding Secondary Principal, Outstanding Elementary Teacher, Outstanding Secondary Teacher, Outstanding ALS Worker, Outstanding Employee (non-teaching), Outstanding Employee (EPS/PSDS/CPs),Outstanding SDO/Designate and Outstanding ADAS/Book keeper. Winners will receive a Certificate of Recognition and cash incentive. Division Memorandum no. 217 s. 2015 gives the criteria.
